In alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and the mission to strengthen the nation’s veterinary infrastructure, the AgroVet Research & Development Foundation (ARDF) has launched the Continuing Veterinary Education (CVE) Programme — a dedicated platform to empower veterinary professionals, paravets, and livestock extension workers across India.
The CVE Programme is an ongoing professional development initiative that aims to upgrade the knowledge, skills, and competencies of veterinarians and allied professionals in response to emerging challenges in animal health, livestock production, zoonoses, public health, and sustainable animal husbandry practices.
The veterinary profession is evolving rapidly with new technologies, disease dynamics, climate-related challenges, and increasing expectations for One Health integration. To remain current and competent, veterinarians must embrace lifelong learning and evidence-based practices.
CVE fills this critical gap by offering structured, updated, and specialized training modules tailored to national and local needs. It fosters a mindset of innovation, service, and scientific rigor among practitioners who are at the forefront of livestock development.
